Please not allow non-lodging guests to you lodging. You must get documented permission from the owner before alowing non-registed are allowed on our private property. Tresspassers may be may be prosecuted. Please contact us if you wish to have any EVENT.
FUN and GAMES
Shuffleboard, horseshoes, bocci, croquet, and fishings rods, are available at select locations, availability permitting.
Big East Fork offers something for everyone: hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, fishing, horseshoes, shuffleboard, bocci ball, sunset watching, farm animals to meet, edible foraging, fire circles, music making, play acting, yoga, and dancing.
For Lodging Guests without a valid Big East Fork Retreat pass: The Retreat and its walking trails are NOT part of your Lodging agreement. To access Big East Fork Retreat activities, including hiking trails, watercraft and spa activities, you MUST purchase a Retreat Pass at the Big East Fork Retreat office (5375 Big East Fork Rd), or on-line in advance (discounted rate available). You may purchase Day, Two-day, or Weekly passes by first printing and signing the BEFR Liability Waver. Send a picture of the Signed Waiver to firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the Pass(es)
Print and Bring the following Parking Pass if you are not walking or biking to the Retreat. It will be validated after at least one Retreat Pass is purchased. It covers all the folks coming in that vehicle.
Purchasing a Retreat Pass allows trail hiking, sitting/lounging on outside porches, forest bathing on secluded outdoor platforms by a tranquil stream, exploring the organic farm across the road (including petting and feeding Rosie the donkey and our pet goats, Smith and Wesson), and picnicing in the Lake Gratitude gazebo. Most importantly, purchasing a Retreat Pass allows you to help preserve and protect 2300 precious acres of biodiverse species and landscape which all of us (and those who will follow) can enjoy.

Fishing $10/person. Catch-and-release. Required TN State fishing license may be purchased in office.
Watercraft (kayak, canoe, paddleboat, paddle board; includes required flotation vest) $10/hr

If you would like a gas grill and propane tank to be brought to your cabin/house/mansion, let us know. We request $50 to cover our costs of fuel, cleaning, and logistics.

GETTING ACCESS TO YOUR LODGING
Contact host on the day of your arrival to receive your entry instructions. Be sure to pay the state and county taxes before you arrive. If you have not already sent them, go to Paypal.me/BEFL
Early check-in (before 3pm) may be possible if you are willing to accept conditions as-is and willing to make your own beds. You may drop off your belongings at the Retreat Center (5375 Big East Fork Rd) if you arrive early before your Lodging is ready. Just let us know before you arrive.
STOCKING YOUR ROOM/FRIDGE
If you would like your fridge stocked with fresh product from our on-site gardens, contact Lauren at Big East Fork Farm. To keep our base costs low we do not supply most disposables. Coffee, filters, toiletries, etc are available for a nominal fee. Chocolate, flowers, wine, massages, yoga instruction can be arranged per your request.
Late check-out is possible if new guests are not arriving on the date of your departure. However, we will not know this until the date of your departure. Late departure until 2pm may be secured for $200 as long as you allow cleaning staff to enter at noon and you vacate the sleeping areas and bedroom bathrooms.
