Big East Fork Farms

Big East Fork Farms comprises 311 acres of greenhouses, high tunnels, pasture, and ponds within a four-mile stretch of protected valley. BEFF is home to several sustainable and regenerative farms which offer organic produce and authentic experiences to guests and volunteers of every age. Several of its component entrepreneurial farms (Fork Inn Farms, McKinney Farms, Downing Farms, Brandt Farms, Veronica’s Flower Farm) receive support from the Center for Sustainable Stewardship a non-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate farmers for the next generation. Our Farmers teach and share a variety of natural farming methods.

The farm is currently home to goats, chickens, ducks, bees, pigs, cows, and donkeys. including our resident pig and goat protector, Rosey the Donkey. She craves attention and loves for visitors to pet and feed her. Winston the Cow is sweet but aloof. Offer her some sweet feed and you’ll be surprised at his long tongue and copious slobber.

The farms support agrotourism, Pick-TN, and is surrounded by forested woodlands and meadows containing many hiking trails.
